There's heater below Tatami Table. So it really helps while we want to relax by the window or having our meal, nice to have our body warm. Room is spacious consider its in Japan. The room size is a regular size of hotels in USA, Indonesia, Thailand, and Europe. The room has Japanese style water boiler, where we can set the water temperature to 70,80 or 95. Provides us with Yukata. The onsen it's good with a few type of lotions for hair, body & face. Small minimarket if you need to buy food, with microwave and cutlery. The hotel has souvenirs shop to, I recommend buy the Nikko Chocolate Mochi and Strawberry Chocolate mochi there, because apparently I can't see that anywhere else, including at the souvenirs shop by the Lake Chuzenji, Nikko or Tokyo. If only I didn't loose my phone, I would have able to share the pictures of this hotel. Definitely will come back to this hotel for our next snow experience and bring the whole big group of my family.

The hotel situated in a beautiful peaceful village with the lake, waterfalls and walking trails etc. The staff were very professional and helpful and went out of their way to assist guests. One of the staff on morning shift helped me to find the locker key, and I felt so sorry that I didn’t even get his name to say thank you. I’ve been to many Japanese hotels and ryokans, and the meals at Okunikko Konishi were amazing. They used the most fresh local produce and presented them beautifully. The room was spacious and clean. I’m so looking forward to returning soon.

We were late for the transfer to the hotel, but the nice driver waited for us. It was a real gift. Thank you very much for that. I really liked this hotel. It is situated in the mountains by a lake. It is very beautiful. All the staff was very kind and we communicated normally in English. The room had everything we needed. We ordered dinner and breakfast. It was very tasty and interesting. It was our first Japanese dinner but we were helped by explaining the details. The onsen was great,

The staff were so nice, accommodating and approachable in every request. I love their seasonal course especially the wagyu steak! The location us perfect for sightseeing. 3-5 mins. from Yudaki falls, Ryuzu falls, Chuzenji lake and tge famous Toshogu. We will surely stay there again.

Resort is away from the city in an onsen area that is excellent for relaxation. Walking around the hotel and lake areas was excellent. Service, especially the restaurant service, was flawless. Traditional Japanese meals in the hotel were fantastic. Shuttle bus provides the convenience getting in and out of the hotel from the Tobu-Nikko station (check pick up time).
